Reading and planning

You can read the guides without an account. The seed planner works in your browser. Its dates and quantities are not submitted to our server. Search terms are sent to the website to return matching articles and may appear in ordinary server request logs.

The hosting and security providers process technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and time. These records support delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. We do not claim that infrastructure logs are anonymous, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Garden notes

When the contact form is available, it asks for a name, reply email and message. The message is stored in the site's editorial dashboard and a copy is sent to the editorial inbox through a server-side relay. We use those details to read, review and respond to the inquiry. Do not include medical, financial, identity or other sensitive information. The form is unavailable while delivery and security are not configured.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions and administrator sign-ins for abuse. Cloudflare may process device and connection information for that purpose. Its privacy policy explains its processing. A security check does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Messages are kept while the inquiry and any necessary follow-up are relevant. You can request access, correction or deletion through the contact page. We may retain limited records needed to address abuse, disputes or legal obligations. We do not sell the contents of contact messages.

Shopping and external content

When active, affiliate links may pass a non-personal placement identifier to Amazon, CJ Affiliate, MaxBounty or eBay. Those services and merchants may set attribution cookies and process purchases under their own policies. An externally hosted advertisement or product image can reveal your IP address and browser request information to the image host. No merchant checkout is operated here.

The website's click table stores daily totals by item and placement, without an IP address. Abuse controls may use an IP address temporarily. Administrator login failures are held in SQLite for up to seven days to enforce security limits. The site does not run a cross-site advertising profile or a public analytics account.

Cookies, security and choices

Administrator sign-in uses a necessary, secure, HTTP-only session cookie lasting up to 24 hours. Readers do not need that cookie. See cookie information. You can control cookies in your browser, although disabling required security functions can prevent a form from working.

We restrict editorial access and protect data in transit where HTTPS is enabled. No system can promise perfect security. This site is intended for general gardening reading, not the collection of children's personal information. Questions about this notice can be sent through contact.
